1 stick butter
1 C brown sugar
2 Tbsp. dark maple syrup
1 loaf French bread
5 eggs
1 1/2 C milk
2 tsp. vanilla
pinch of nutmeg & cinnamon, to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook butter, brown sugar, and maple syrup until sugar is dissolved; pour into a 9 x 13" pan. Layer thick slices of bread on top of syrup mixture in pan. In a bowl mix eggs, milk, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon; pour over bread slices. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 mins.
