1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. lukewarm water
2/3 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed potatoes
1 c. scalded milk
2 eggs
4 to 5 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Add butter, sugar, salt and potatoes to scalded milk. Stir in yeast and flour to make a soft dough. Let rise until double in bulk. Mix down and make into small balls and place on cookie sheet. Brush with melted butter and let rise until light. Make indentations and fill with pie filling, jam, or jelly. Let rise again for 10 minutes. Bake at 400º for 8 to 10 minutes, or until light brown. Frost.
