Ingredients:
Soak 1# Great Northern beans overnight in crock pot. (These are the larger size Navy beans)

In the morning add: 1 tsp. salt, 1 T. mustard, 1/4 c. catsup, 1/2 chopped onion, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/4 c. brown sugar, seasoned pepper, few pieces of bacon. Cook on low all day. We like the soup so I usually take part of the beans out with a little of the liquid (when they are about done) and bake them awhile in the oven and we eat the rest as soup. I like my beans in the soup mashed up a little. This is the way I've fixed them since I have the crock pot and Dad and I really like them. If you only want them for baking you don't have to cook them in as much water.
