1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak
2 T. olive oil
2 green peppers, cut into strips
2 onions, cut into slices
2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
1 1/2 t. sugar
1/2 t. salt
dash of pepper
1 can beef broth
3 T. cornstarch
2 T. soy sauce
1 c. water
cooked rice

Directions:
Directions:
Cut beef, crosswise against the grain into thin slices. In skillet, brown beef in oil; add green peppers and onions. Cook over high heat for 3 minutes. Add sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook 1 minute. Add beef broth and bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 1/2 hour. In bowl combine corn starch, soy sauce, and water. Stir into skillet and cook until thickened. Add tomatoes, cook until heated through. Serve with hot rice.
