2 C. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 T. sugar
1/3 C. shortening
1/2 C. milk
1 egg, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Cut in shortening. Add milk and egg. Stir until moistened. Roll out and cut out with round cutter. Brush with milk. Bake for 12-14 minutes at 375.
