Streusel Filled Coffee Cake Recipe

1 1/2 C. flour
3/4 C. sugar
1/4 C. shortening
1 egg
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 C. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Streusel Mixture: Mix well.
1 c. brown sugar
4 tsp. cinnamon
4 T. margarine

Sift flour before measuring, then sift flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar together. Cut in shortening until mixture is like fine cornmeal. Blend in well beaten eggs mixed with milk. Blend in vanilla and beat just enough to mix well. Pour half of batter into a well greased and floured pan. Sprinkle with half of the streusel mixture. Add remaining batter and sprinkle remaining streusel mixture over top. Bake at 350 for 45-60 min or until knife comes out clean.
