2 c. sugar 2 c. shortening 1 16 oz. can pumpkin 2 tsp baking powder 2 eggs 1/2 tsp allspice 4 c. flour 1 tsp. soda 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. cinnamon 2 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. nutmeg
Preheat oven to 375º. Cream sugar and shortening. Add pumpkin, eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Stir in all dry ingredients and mix together. Drop in spoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 375º. Allow to cool, then frost with vanilla icing.
