4 cups sugar
1 cup corn syrup
3/4 cup water
3 egg whites
dash of salt
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, syrup and water on high in microwave for 20 minutes...stirring every 5 minutes. During the last 5 minute cycle, beat egg whites with salt in a large bowl on medium speed. Pouring very slowly, while continuing to mix, add hot syrup mixture into egg mixture. Add vanilla and beat until candy loses its gloss.

Drop quickly by spoonful onto wax paper. Store in air tight container.

Crushed nuts are optional and should be added to the final mixture before dropping onto waxed paper.
