1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
c. chopped pecans, toasted
2 T. each chopped red and green maraschino cherries
1 tsp. vanilla extract
tsp. almond extract
c. M&Ms
Additional M&Ms chopped

Directions:
Directions:
In medium bowl, combine ice cream, pecans, cherries and extracts, mix well. Fold in M&Ms.

Spoon into paper-lined muffin cups and freeze for at least 30 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped M&Ms.
Yield: 8-10 servings.
Variations:
Substitute chocolate ice cream or any other family favorite for the vanilla ice cream.

Make this dessert a year round treat by substituting chopped cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies for the red and green maraschino cherries.
