2 c. white sugar
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. oleo
1 c. milk
2 c. chocolate chips
4 c. oatmeal
1 c. nuts
1 c. coconut.

Bring first four ingredients to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients in large bowl. Pour hot mixture over this and mix well. Drop from teaspoon onto waxed paper. Makes 8 dozen.

I like this recipe better:
½ c. butter, 2 c. sugar, ½ c. cocoa, ¼ c. coconut, ½ c. milk, 3 c. oatmeal, ½ c. peanut butter, 1 tsp. Vanilla. In medium saucepan, melt butter. Add sugar, cocoa, coconut and milk. Bring to boil 1-1-1/2 minutes. Remove from heat and add oatmeal, peanut butter and vanilla. Drop onto waxed paper. Melt a little peanut butter and drizzle onto the cooked cookies. Let stand until the peanut butter is set.
