6-10 ears fresh corn, or 3 or 4 canned corn drained
3 strips bacon,
3 cloves garlic,
1 stick butter,
1 onion diced,
bell pepper, optional,
1 8 oz. cream cheese,
1 cup heavy cream.

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté bacon, garlic, onion, bell pepper. Add butter. Add corn. Salt and pepper. Cook 10 minutes. Add cream cheese and cream. Cook until cream cheese is melted and heated through out.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
You can leave out the bacon and use bacon bits to make this a vegetarian dish. The butter will give you enough oil to saute the vegetables.
The bell pepper is optional. I add it to give some color.
