1. 1 pound ground beef, 1 pound Italian sausage

2. 1 package lasagna noodles ( about 8 noodles)

3. 3 cups ricotta cheese, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, 2 T. parsley, 1 t. salt, 1/2 t. pepper

4. 1 T. basil, 1 1/2 t. salt, 1 large can diced tomatoes, 2- 6 oz. cans of tomato paste

5. 3 cups mozzarella cheese

Brown meat and add ingredients in #4. Cook and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Cook noodles. Beat together ingredients listed in #3. Layer as follows making 2 layers:
1. noodles 2. ricotta cheese 3. mozzarella cheese
4. meat.
Top with shredded Parmesan cheese and bake at 350 for 45 minutes to an hour.
