2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
5 c. oatmeal (after measuring, blend to powder in blender)
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
4 c. chocolate chips
M & Ms to decorate tops of cookies

Directions:

Cream together butter, sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients in another bowl. Add to batter and mix thoroughly.
Blend in chocolate chips. Place golf ball sized cookies two inches apart and slightly flatten on ungreased or parchment-lined cookie sheet. Press seven M & M's onto each cookie.

Bake at 375 F. for 7 minutes and then switch to opposite shelf (if on top, bottom, if in front, back) for 4-5 minutes or until done.
