2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. oatmeal
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
2 tsp. cinnamon
8 c. chopped apples
Syrup:
4 tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. butter
2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon together like pie crust. Put half of mixture into a 9 x 13" pan. Put apples on top of mixture.
Syrup: Boil all ingredients until clear and thick. Pour over fruit and top with remaining crumbs. Bake at 350º for at least 1 hour.
