1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
2 envelopes yeast
1 1/2 tsp cinnimon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp maize
1 tsp salt

let stand for approx 2 mins.

3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups boiled water

beat at med speed for 2 mins then add

2 eggs
2 cups flour
let mix for 2 mins

add

1 1/2 cups raisins
3/4 cups flour
let rise in warm oven

bake at 350 for 45- 50 mins.
