1st layer:
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c, nuts

2nd layer:
1 8oz pkg cream cheese (softened)

3 c. milk
1 t. vanilla

4th layer:
Cool Whip
nuts

Directions:
Directions:
1st layer: Mix ingredients thoroughly. (I like to squeeze it between my fingers-mixes faster). Pat in 9x13" pan. Bake at 350º for 15 min. Let cool.
2nd layer: Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar together, add cool whip and spread on crust. Chill.
3rd layer: combine pudding, milk and vanilla and beat until thick. Pour over second layer.
4th layer: When pudding has set, spread Cool Whip over it and sprinkle with nuts.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Everyone loves this dessert. I especially like the second layer so, I always double that part! Because there are some of us that either are allergic or don't like nuts (you know who you are!), I leave the nuts out of the crust and just put them on part of the top. That way it's easy to tell which part has no nuts. You can also make this dessert with butterscotch pudding. But, why would you want to when you can have chocolate?
