1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 can (8 oz) pineapple slices, in its own juice, drain, saving juice

4 center cut pork chops, 1 inch thick

Directions:
Directions:
In small bowl, combine all marinade ingredients, except pineapple slices; mix well. Place pork chops and marinade in 2 quart glass baking dish or plastic bag. Turn to coat. Cover dish or seal bag, leave for 6-8 hours. Heat grill. When ready to grill, drain pork chops, save marinade. Place pork chops on medium heat for gas grill or 4-8 inches from medium-high coals. Cook 20-30 minutes or until tender, turning once and brushing frequently with marinade. Place pineapple on grill during last 8 minutes of cooking time. turn once and brush with marinade. To service, place pineapple on pork chop.
