4 cups noodles (1/2 lb)
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp shortening
2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
1 cup cottage cheese
1 (8 oz) pkg soft cream cheese
╝ cup sour cream
╝ cup onion
╝ cup green pepper
2 tbsp melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cook noodles as package directions. Drain and cool. SautÚ ground beef with shortening until brown. Stir in tomato sauce. Turn off heat source. Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream onion and green pepper. Spread half of the noodles in 2-quart casserole dish, cover with cheese mixture, then cover with rest of noodles. Pour melted butter over noodles, then tomato meat sauce. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
