1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups butter, softened
3 cups sugar
6 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsps lemon extract
3 cups cake flour or sifted all-purpose flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Grease and flour a 12-cup tube pan.In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter together with the sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, vanilla, and lemon extract and blend until smooth. Stir in the flour, and beat until the batter is well mixed. Pour into the tube pan and baker for 1 1/2 hours or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool slightly on a wire rack, then remove the pan and cool completely. Serve plain or with fresh fruit or ice cream as an added treat
