1 (10) double piecrust, bottom and top rolled out
6 to 8 medium tart, firm apples, peeled and sliced
2 tbsp. corn starch
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. sugar
2/3 c. light corn syrup
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Topping
3/4 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. flour
6 tbsp. light corn syrup
4 tbsp. soften butter

Directions:
Directions:
To prepare oven, pan: Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Place bottom crust in large, deep-dish pie pan
To assemble: Fill bottom crust with sliced apples. In small bowl, combine cornstarch, cinnamon, salt, sugar, corn syrup and lemon juice. Pour evenly over apples.
To make topping: In an other bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, corn syrup, and butter.
To bake: Sprinkle topping over apples and sauce mixture. Cover with top crust. Make several slits for steam. Bake for one hour or until apples are tender and juices are bubbling. Remove from oven.
