1 1/2 c. karo syrup 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 sticks butter (not margarine)
Mix the first 4 ingredients in a large bowl. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add Karo syrup and sugar and bring to a boil. Boil one minute, then pour over cereal mixture. Spread on wax paper to cool.
