7 pcs Stale Bread
Water
3/4 C Milk
3/4 C Sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Soak the bread in water for a couple of hours. Squeeze out the water and crumble the bread. Add milk, sugar, eggs, salt and vanilla. Pour into a greased baking dish. Bake at 350º for 1 hour.

Grandma's original recipes actually ends with: Bake at 350º for 1 hour and DON'T FORGET TO TAKE IT OUT OF THE OVEN.... I don't know the story behind that, but I bet it's funny.
