1/4 c. chopped onion
1 lb. hamburger
2 cans Cream of celery soup
3 cups tomato juice
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. marjoram
1/8 tsp. gran. garlic
1 bay leaf
2 cups shredded carrots
1 tbsp. sugar

Saute onions and hamburger
Then add remaining ingredients - let mixture simmer of 1 1/2 hours

Recipe my be doubled and this freezes well. You can also adapt this for the Crockpot. It makes a hearty soup great for the winter weather,
