1.75 to 2 lbs peanuts
5T Hawaiian Salt
3T Sugar
3T shoyu
5 Anise pods
Garlic, crushed

Directions:
Directions:
Fill large, deep pot with water. Add about Hawaiian salt, sugar, shoyu, anise pods and crushed garlic.

Combine everything with water and boil. Add peanuts and weigh them down with a heavy plate. Cover and return to boil - leave heat at medium and simmer for about 45 minutes.

Taste peanut for desired doneness.

Turn off heat and let sit for a while so peanuts soak in liquid.

Drain and enjoy!
