1 1/3 c. soft shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. milk chocolate chips
1 c. chunky style peanut butter (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Blend together shortening, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Add flour, salt, and baking soda. Mix well and add chocolate chips and peanut butter.

Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 10 to 15 minutes.
