½ cup shortening
1 ½ cup of sugar
½ tsp salt
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1 Tbsp vinegar in 1 cup of milk
2 cups flour
2 cups diced rhubarb

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar, add egg and salt. Beat in dry ingredients alternating with milk. Stir in rhubarb. Pour onto greased and floured 13x9 pan. Sprinkle over top: ½ cup sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon.

Bake at 350 for 35 minutes or until golden.
