1 angel food cake
3 small 11oz cans mandarin oranges
2 (3oz) pkgs orange jello
2 cups boiling water
1/2 cup mandarin orange juice
2 pints vanilla ice cream
12oz container cool whip

Directions:
Directions:
Drain the mandarin oranges well. Save 1/2 cup of juice to add to the jello mixture. Add 2 pkgs orange jello to boiling water. Place on bottom of 9x13 pan. Place about 1/3 of the mandarin oranges over the angel food pieces. Pour 1/2 of the jello on the angel food cake pieces and mandarin oranges. Repeat the layer process. Add the rest of the mandarin oranges on top of the jello mixture. Cool in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight. Top with cool whip.
