1/2 Cup Margarine or Butter
2 Cups Granulated Sugar
1/3 Cup Cocoa
1/2 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
3 Cups Quick Cooking Oatmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Melt margarine/butter in 2 qt. saucepan, add sugar, cocoa and milk. Bring mixture to a boil; boil for one minute. Remove from heat and add peanut butter and oatmeal. Stir until completely coated. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Allow to cool.

If the mixture is not boiled long enough the cookies will not set up; but if the mixture is boiled too long the sugar in the cookies will crystallize when cooling and become hard. It is a fine line...
