1 lb boneless round stead, 1/2" thick
1 clove garlic, split (I use more, see below)
3 Tbsp flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 cup butter
1 lb mushrooms (I usually add more)
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cups sour cream (16 oz)
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
Egg noodles, wide

Directions:

Rub steak with garlic. Cut meat into 1/4" thick by 2 1/2" long pieces. Toss meat strips in flour, salt and pepper. In a skillet, melt butter and brown meat. (I add 3 crushed garlic cloves). Add onions and mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes. Add
water and chicken soup. Heat to boiling. Reduce and simmer for 1 1/2 hrs over low heat. Before serving, stir in the sour cream. Heat just to boiling. Serve with egg noodles.
