4 qts. shredded cabbage
2 medium onions, chopped
1 pepper, diced
1 medium carrot, shredded
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup oil
3/4 cup vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 T. salt

Directions:
Directions:
mix the cabbage, onions, green pepper, and carrot in a large bowl. In a saucepan, bring sugar, oil, vinegar, celery seed, and salt to boiling. Immediately pour over cabbage mixture. Refrigerate at least 24 hours before serving. This is delicious on hamburgers. Will last indefinitely.
