Grandma's Molasses Cookies Recipe

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup Grandma's Molasses
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon. baking soda
1/4 teaspoon. salt
1/2 teaspoon each of cinnamon and cloves, allspice
3/4 cup raisins

Mix all ingredients well. Add raisins.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls on greased sheet.
Bake at 350 about 10-12 minutes or till top of cookies spring back. Do not overbake.
Can be frozen.
