Sour Cream Coffee Cake Recipe

1 1/2 sticks butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
3 cups flour
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 pint sour cream
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Topping: 3/4 or 1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
mix well

Blend together butter, sugar, eggs. Add rest of ingredients and mix well.
Spread about 1/2 of batter in well-greased bundt pan. Sprinkle half of topping on batter, add balance of batter evenly and sprinkle rest of topping on batter.
Bake about 1 hour or till done. Test with cake tester to be sure cake is baked through. Can be made ahead and frozen.
Preheat oven to 350.
