Lemon Bars Recipe

Preheat oven to 350

For Crust
1 cup flour
1/4 cup sifted powdered sugar
1/2 cup butter

For Filling

2 eggs
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp lemon zest
2 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp baking powder

Pat the crust ingredients into an ungreased 8x8x2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes

Beat together the filling ingredients and pour over the crust layer. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.

Sift powdered sugar over cooled bars.

Double recipe for a 9x13 pan.
