1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 red bell pepper diced
1 green bell pepper diced
1 medium red onion diced
1 can corn, diced and rinsed
2 garlic cloves minced
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (or more)
1 tbsp cumin
1 lime, zest and juice
1 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Chill for at least one hour before serving. The flavors intensify over time. Double or triple recipe for a large crowd.

This is a very versatile recipe. If there is an ingredient you don't care for, you can simply omit it. The salsa can be used as a topping for meat or fish.

Some other additions include: diced tomato, diced jalapeņo, chopped cilantro, diced avocado.
