1-1/2 pint oysters
1 tube crackers, smashed
1 stick margarine
1/2 cup milk

Directions:
Take hard piece off oysters and make sure shells are out of juice. Grease glass dish on sides and bottom with Crisco. Put layer of oysters and 1/2 juice on bottom. Add some melted margarine and a bit of milk. Put layer of crackers. Second layer of oysters, juice, margarine, milk and crackers. Let sit 1/2 - 3/4 hour to flavor (refrigerate if more than 1 hour). Bake at 325º approximately 3/4 hour (1 - 1-1/4 hour if larger pan used) until crackers brown and it bubbles. CAUTION: Do not let it dry out - may need a little more milk.
