Creamy Hash brown Bake (Ruth)

1 Can Cream of Celery Soup
1 3 oz pkg cream cheese
1/3 C milk
4 C frozen hash brown potatoes
1 C frozen chopped onions
- C grated sharp cheddar cheese
Salt and Pepper, to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, combine soup, cream cheese and milk. Cook until smooth. Combine hash browns and onions, stir in soup mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Put in buttered shallow baking dish and cover. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Uncover, and then top with cheddar cheese. Return to oven long enough to melt cheese and casserole is bubbly.
