½ lb shortening (8 oz) Sprinkle of salt 3 C flour 1 egg 1 Tbs vinegar 5 Tbs water
Blend together shortening, salt and flour, until shortening is worked into the flour. Beat in egg, and add vinegar and water. Mix all ingredients together until nice dough ball is formed. Break into 4 even balls. Sprinkle some flour on pastry sheet and roll out dough to fit pie pan. Makes 4 pie crusts.
