2 pkg. yeast
1-1/4 c. warm water
3 eggs, well beaten
4-1/2 to 5 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. shortening, very soft or melted
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup butter or margarine to dip rolls in

Directions:
Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup of water. Let stand 10 minutes. Combine yeast, eggs, 2-1/2 cups of flour, 1 cup warm water, shortening, sugar and salt in a mixing bowl. Beat until smooth at medium speed, about 2 minutes. Stir in remaining flour to make a soft dough. Put in a greased bowl and let rise until double in size, about 1 hour. Punch down and refrigerate. About 3 hours before baking, roll out and cut. Dip each roll in melted butter and place in pan. Let rise the 2-1/2 hours and then bake at 375º for approximately 15 minutes.
