Butter or Margarine
3/4 lb Shredded Ham
6 Eggs
1 lb Shredded Cheese
3 C Milk
1/2 tsp Dry Mustard
1/2 tsp Salt
1 C Crushed Cornflakes
1/2 C Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish. Butter the bread and lay in a single layer in the dish with butter facing down. Layer the ham on the bread. Layer the cheese on the ham. Butter the remaining bread needed and layer on the cheese with the butter side down. Beat the eggs. Mix in the milk, mustard and salt. Pour egg mixture over the casserole. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Before baking, allow the casserole to return to room temperature. Saute the corn flakes and butter and then place on the casserole. Bake for 1 hour at 350º.

This casserole was a Lovaas tradition. Every summer the Lovaas family would camp at Elaine's house and this was a regular breakfast at the event.
