2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter & sugar, then egg. Add & beat rest of ingredients. Chill dough and roll thin. Cut out if desired.

Bake at 375º for 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
