1 large can tamales
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 pkg. corn chips, crushed
1 large can peeled tomatoes
1 pkg. Williams Chili mix
1 onion, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Cover bottom layer with crushed corn chips. Brown ground beef and drain. Add chili seasoning and tomatoes. Also add liquid from tamales. Chili needs to be juicy, so add more liquid if needed. Peel husks from tamales and slice lengthwise and place on top of corn chips. Spread chopped onions and then spread chili over all. Top with grated cheese. Bake for 30 minutes at 350º or until bubbly.

Personal Notes:
Dad says the only way to eat tamale pie is with crackers and catsup, but you can be the judge on that.
