1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup rolled oats, quick or old-fashioned
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Beat egg; stir in brown sugar, oats and buttermilk. Let stand while combining flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder. Add dry ingredients and oil to oat mixture, stir to moisten. Add chocolate chips. Spoon batter into paper-lined cups. Bake 12 to 14 minutes.
