4 large cooking apples
3 oz soft brown sugar
2 - 3 tablespoons chopped nuts
2 oz margerine
2oz flour

Directions:
Directions:
Peel, core and roughly chop the apples.
Place in a shallow oven-proof dish.
Cream margerine and sugar in a bowl until soft then mix in flour.
Add nuts to mixture and then spread over the apples.
Bake uncovered in a moderate oven for 30 to 40mins.
Serve with cream, ice cream or custard.
