1/2 C flour
salt and pepper to taste
8 thin pork chops
4 tbsp butter
4 tbsp olive oil
Several sprigs fresh thyme
2 tart apples- cut into 1/4 inch slices

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine flour with salt and pepper. Dredge chops in flour.
2. Heat 1/2 of butter and 1/2 of oil in a large skillet. Saute 1/2 of the chops for 5 min on each side. While they are cooking put some thyme under each chop so that the herb sticks to the meat. Remove chops and keep warm.
3. Repeat step 2 with remaining butter, oil, and chops.
4. In the same skillet saute apples for 2-4 min, until soft but not mushy. Serve chops with apples on top.
