1 1/2 lbs. ground beef, pork, lamb, veal or turkey
1 large green pepper, chopped (1 cup)
1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
2 15 1/2-ounce cans red kidney beans, drained
1 28-ounce can tomatoes, cut up
1 15-ounce tomato sauce (2 cups)
1 1/2 C. water
2 tbsp. chili powder
2 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
1 large bay leaf
1 recipe Cheese Bread Bowls

In 4 quart pan cook meat with green pepper, and onion till meat is browned and vegetables are tender. Drain off fat.
Add kidney beans undrained, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, chili powder, Worcestershire, honey, salt, basil, cinnamon., allspice and bay leaf.
Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Cover; simmer one hour longer or till desired consistency, stirring occasionally.
Serve in cheese bowls.
