1 box pie crust mix.
1/8 tsp. nutmeg.
2 1/2 lbs. cooking apples (Granny smith and Fuji) are good choices. Peel and slice them into nice chunks.
2 tbls. flour.
2 tbls. butter.
1 tsp. cinnamon.
1 c. sugar.
2 tbls. juice of a lemon.
1/2 tsp. salt.

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425.
Roll out pie crust, mix and refrigerate bottom half. In a small bowl mix sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. In a large bowl toss apples with lemon juice add small bowl mixture to apples, in bottom half of crust that was in refrigerator.Dot with pieces of butter. Bake at 425 for 45 to 50 minutes
