1 cup softened butter
1 cup oil
1 box light brown sugar
2 cups sugar
4 eggs lightly beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups sifted flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup oatmeal
1 package (6 ounces) chocolate chips
2 cups Rice Krispies
1 cup chopped pecans
1 1/2 cups shredded coconut

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º. Lightly grease cookie sheets.

Cream together butter, oil, brown sugar, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Mix well. Stir in oatmeal, chocolate chips, Rice Krispies, pecans, and coconut.

Scoop dough to form large balls onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Be sure to make large cookies – 6 to cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes. Take out of oven when golden and slightly moist in the center. Cool at least 5 minutes, remove from cookie sheet.
