4 c. red apples, diced
1 c. pineapple chunks, drained
1 tbsp. white sugar
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
dash salt
1 c. celery, chopped
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. cool whip
1/2 c. walnuts, broken

Sprinkle apples and pineapple with sugar, lemon juice and salt; add celery. Fold mayonnaise into cool whip. Gently fold into apple mixture; chill. Add walnuts just before serving.
