2 bunches broccoli flowerettes
2 Tbs deydrated onions (or finely chopped fresh red onion)
1 cu raisins (craisins or dehydrated fruit)
1 lb crisp-cooked bacon, cut in small (1") strips
DRESSING: 1 cu mayonnaise
2 Tbs vinegar (may use apple cider vinegar)
1/4 cu sugar (may be brown)

Mix everything together. Let stand 1-2 hours, but is best made a day ahead and allowed to blend over night.

I use apple cider vinegar and 1/2 brown and 1/2 white sugars. (1/8 cu of each). I like to mix raisins and craisins. I cook the bacon in the microwave, approx. 1 min per piece, between folded paper towels. (3-4 layers on both bottom and top.) I also prefer the fresh to the dehydrated onion, and I really use less than called for. I also add a pinch each of salt and pepper. Just a pinch, please!
