2 c. rice
2 T. slivered almonds
2 T. pine nuts
2 T. raisins
2 c. chicken broth
Cooking oil
Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Heat cooking oil and fry rice stirring constantly until each grain is coated with oil and some of the rice turns light brown.

Add water and salt, stir and leave uncovered over moderate fire until the water is absorbed.

Cover, lower heat to the minimum and allow slow cooking.

Fry the almonds, pine nuts and raisins in oil.

Serve the rice and sprinkle the nuts on top.
